‘Candle Cave ’ (i.e., Avshalom Cave, a stalactite cave in Israel)
It is located west of Jerusalem and south of Wadi Soreq (i.e., Nahal Soreq) and is called Soreq Cave, but it is better known by the name ‘Candle Cave’ or ‘Stalactite Cave.’
The cave was discovered in 1968 following a large explosion that took place in one of the nearby gravel machines (i.e., it was discovered during explosions conducted at a quarry).”
