PLO official: The US is conducting terror against the Palestinians
Headline: “Khaled: The Trump administration is conducting terror against the Palestinians”
“PLO Executive Committee member and Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP) political bureau member Tayseer Khaled said today, Thursday [Feb. 2, 2017], that American President Donald Trump’s administration is conducting terror against the Palestinian people. This was in light of the threats reported in political and media circles against the Palestinian side if it seeks to turn to the International Criminal Court in order to open a legal investigation regarding the settlement crimes in the Palestinian territories that were aggressively occupied in June 1967… He continued: ‘I say this in a clear response to the threat of the new American administration to stop the financial aid to the PA and close the PLO offices in Washington, and the hint regarding other sanctions if we decide to turn to the International Criminal Court in order to sue Israel for its crimes against our people, including the settlement crimes. These types of threats must strengthen our power, our toughness, and our adherence to our right to bring the war criminals to international trial, as we have nothing to lose other than the crumbs of aid that the new American administration wants to pay in order to be rid of its responsibility to defend our interests and our national rights.’”
