PMW report prompts Wiesenthal Center's condemnation
of German-Palestinian sports agreement
signed by PA terror promoter Jibril Rajoub
Following Palestinian Media Watch'sdisclosure this week that Germany signed a sports agreement with one of the Palestinian Authority's most outspoken terror promoters, Jibril Rajoub, the Simon Wiesenthal Center is urging Chancellor Angela Merkel to "suspend this unthinkable agreement until the Palestinian Authority removes all names of terrorists from all sectors of Palestinian sport and their acts of terror be publicly condemned by Ramallah:"

The Simon Wiesenthal Centre Director for International Relations, Dr. Shimon Samuels, expressed revulsion that 'today's Germany could be associated through sport with the blatant sanctification of Jew-killers, thereby evoking the shadows of the 1936 Nazi Olympics and the 1972 Munich Olympics atrocity.'
The German representative to 'Palestine', Peter Beerwerth, has announced 'his pride' in financing the Palestinian sports agency responsible for naming all stadiums, tournaments and clubs in honour of the terrorist murderers of Jews. The Simon Wiesenthal Centre recently provided FIFA (the International Federation of Football Associations) and the United Nations Sports for Peace programme with a list of assassins, iconized in all Palestinian sports activities.
