Fatah Central Committee member and Commissioner for Diaspora Branches Jamal Muhaisen: “We are proud that there are states that were occupied by foreigners and after [several] months or a short time, thousands of people were recruited as spies for the occupying state, whereas we are proud that during 70 years of occupation (i.e., since the establishment of Israel in 1948), and an additional occupation of 50 years (i.e., since the 1967 Six Day War), until now only a very few have fallen into the Israeli net.”
