Official PA TV: “Palestinian institutions” run and govern Jerusalem, shadow government in place for “when Jerusalem is liberated”
Official PA TV program Buy Time in Jerusalem, on Palestinian institutions in Jerusalem
Official PA TV host: “The subject of today’s program is the [Palestinian] institutions [in Jerusalem]. They are considered a [Palestinian] shadow government in Jerusalem. They are a guarantee of the Arab identity of the city, and are a firm shield against the attempts to make it Israeli…”
Official PA TV host: “The [Palestinian] institutions [in Jerusalem] are in practice a shadow government, so that the moment Jerusalem is liberated [from the Israeli occupation] there will already be ministries of education, health, antiquities, justice, interior, foreign affairs, labor, and agriculture there. These institutions, even though they are small, are the ones running Jerusalem - despite the occupation. And whoever goes back in history will find the smile of Abu Jihad Khalil Al-Wazir (i.e., former head of the PLO terror organization’s military wing, organized attacks in which 125 were murdered) in most of the Jerusalem institutions.”
Abu Jihad (Khalil Al-Wazir) was a founder of Fatah and deputy to Yasser Arafat. He headed the PLO terror organization's military wing and also planned many deadly Fatah terror attacks in the 1960’s - 1980’s. These attacks, which killed a total of 125 Israelis, included the most lethal in Israeli history - the hijacking of a bus and killing of 37 civilians, 12 of them children.
