Official PA daily refers to Israel as "the 1948 territories"

     “The occupation authorities cancelled 110 work permits yesterday [Feb. 23, 2017] at the Jalame military checkpoint north of Jenin, and prevented those holding them from entering the 1948 territories (i.e., Israel).”
