PA daily describes visit of Jews to the Temple Mount as “invasions” of the Al-Aqsa Mosque which included “provocative tours” and explanations about “the myth of the alleged Temple”
Headline: “Settlers and the occupation’s Israeli Security Agency invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque”
“Fifty settlers and 50 Israeli Security Agency members invaded the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque yesterday morning [March 2, 2017]… The invasions were carried out in small and consecutive groups and included provocative tours of the mosque’s plazas, during which the invaders heard explanations about the myth of the alleged Temple that was on the site of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.”
The PA and its leaders consider all of the Temple Mount an integral part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Therefore they view any presence of Jews on the mount as an “invasion.” It should be noted that Jews who visit the Temple Mount only enter some sections of the open areas, and do not enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque or the Dome of the Rock.
