“The Bethlehem Education Directorate (i.e., under the PA Ministry of Education) has launched the events of the week of solidarity with and support for the prisoners sitting in the Israeli occupation's prisons to mark Palestinian Prisoner's Day, which is on April 17.
The Al-Khader Elementary School for Girls organized events of solidarity with the prisoners in the presence of Director of the Bethlehem Education Directorate Sami Marwah, Director of [PLO] Commission of Prisoners and Released Prisoners’ Affairs Issa Karake, Mayor of Al-Khader Is'haq Sbeih, and senior [released] prisoner of Al-Khader Rizq Salah (i.e., terrorist, murdered 1)…
The solidarity events at the Al-Khader Elementary School for Girls included many examples of art and heritage, and the dedication and signing of a wall relief for the prisoners, in addition to the honoring of released prisoner Rizq Salah."
Rizq Salah - killed Israeli soldier Guy Friedman and injured two others with a bomb in Bethlehem in 1990. He was arrested in 1993 and was sentenced to life in prison, but was released in October 2013 as one of 104 terrorists whom Israel agreed to release to fulfill the PA's precondition for renewing negotiations.
