PA Minister of Foreign Affairs claims imprisoned terrorists who attacked civilians are "prisoners of war" who suffer from "inhumane conditions"

Headline: "Popular, Arab, and international support among the prisoners, and a warning to the occupation against oppression"
"[PA] Minister of Foreign Affairs Dr. Riyad Al-Malki said that the ministry has called on its diplomats worldwide to defend the prisoners' rights and monitor with great interest the developments of the unlimited hunger strike together with the relevant states and bodies and human rights organizations around the world…
He added that the humanitarian demands of the prisoners are justified, as they are humanitarian demands and not political ones, as the prisoners are demanding their rights as prisoners of war according to international law.
Al-Malki emphasized that the strike is meant to shine a spotlight on the tragic state of the Palestinian prisoners of war imprisoned in the Israeli prisons and the inhumane conditions of their imprisonment."
