State of Israel established on stolen land

"Hello to you on this sad day. Sixty-one years ago, the Palestinians were expelled from their land; the catastrophe (i.e., the creation of the State of Israel) befell the nation of Palestine, and today is the anniversary of the expulsion of some two thirds of the Palestinian people from their land. The catastrophe is one of the greatest crimes against a nation in modern times: an entire nation with a culture and a heritage turned into a people that was scattered throughout the world so that the State of Israel could arise upon the stolen land of Palestine."
