Fatah Movement Central Committee member [and Fatah Commissioner of Mobilization and Organization in the West Bank] Jamal Muhaisen said that the Martyrs illuminate the path to freedom and independence. Fatima Hjeiji – a 16-year-old Palestinian female terrorist who attempted to stab Israeli policemen at the Damascus Gate of Jerusalem’s Old City on May 7, 2017. In response, the policemen shot and killed her. A note found on her, which included a verse from the Quran, was signed “Martyr.”
