According to the Palestinian Authority and Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah party, Israel does not have the right to stop Palestinian terrorists in the act of murdering Israelis, for to do so is a "war crime."
On Friday, Hadas Malka, a 23-year-old Israeli policewoman, was stabbed to death by a Palestinian terrorist near the Old City of Jerusalem's Damascus Gate. Armed with guns and knives, he and two other terrorists were planning a large terror attack. However after the young Israeli woman was murdered, police immediately shot and killed the three.
Fatah and the PA immediately and repeatedly condemned Israel's cutting short the Jerusalem terror attack, and honored the terrorist murderers calling them Shahids - Islamic Martyrs.
Fatah Movement:
"The Fatah Movement called on the entire world and its international institutions to condemn the war crime that the Israeli occupation forces committed on Friday in Jerusalem, a short time before the meal to break the [Ramadan] fast, against three young Palestinians."
Fatah spokesman Osama Al-Qawasmi:
"The silence of the international community in light of the continuation of the occupation and its crimes, which have not stopped for even one moment, encourages Israel to permit [the spilling of] Palestinian blood. The despicable crime that was committed today in cold blood and claimed the lives of three Palestinians is nothing but proof of that."

PA Minister of Education and Fatah Central Committee Deputy Secretary Sabri Saidam:
"May Allah have mercy on the Martyrs (Shahids) of Jerusalem and all of Palestine."

PA Ministry of Health:
"The [PA] Ministry of Health announced yesterday evening [June 16, 2017] that three young people were shot by occupation forces and died as Martyrs."
Fatah
"[Fatah] demanded that the international community seriously examine providing international defense to the defenseless Palestinian people."

Official Palestinian Authority daily:
"On the third Friday in the month of Ramadan [June 16, 2017] the waiting does not last long. A burst of bullets split the tense atmosphere, and after it the sirens of police vehicles were heard... After a few minutes an additional burst of bullets caused panic and confirmed that the third Friday of Ramadan would end with blood on the sidewalks of Jerusalem...
While four young [Palestinians] lay prone on the sidewalk (i.e., 3 terrorists killed during terror attack) they [Israel] evacuated the wounded female soldier, whose death was published shortly after. They treated the young [Palestinians] - three of whom later died as Martyrs (Shahids) - with indifference...
The smell of blood will continue to surround the holy and occupied city [of Jerusalem] until dawn. There are young people that wanted to say a clear 'No!' to the occupation in their way."

Presenting Israeli self-defense against Palestinian terrorists as illegal aggression is PA policy. During the recent Palestinian terror wave that started in October 2015, after 65 stabbings and 8 shootings, in which 14 Israelis were murdered, and 167 were wounded PA leader Mahmoud Abbas described it as follows:
"We said to everyone that we want peaceful popular uprising, and that's what this is. That's what this is. However, the aggression of firing bullets has come from the Israelis."

The following is a longer excerpt from the June 17th article from the official PA daily cited above:
"The [PA] Ministry of Health announced yesterday evening [June 16, 2017] that three young people were shot by occupation forces and died as Martyrs... The Palestinian National Liberation Movement 'Fatah' condemned the killing of three young people in East Jerusalem by the occupation. The Fatah Movement said yesterday evening in a statement that the Israeli policy of escalation... proves that the occupation government is continuing its policy. It added that these shootings will leave the region in a state of tension... It also demanded that the international community seriously examine providing international defense to the defenseless Palestinian people."
