PA Deputy Attorney General: Palestinians caught eating in public during Ramadan will be imprisoned for a month

"[PA] Deputy Attorney General Alaa Al-Tamimi said that anyone who is proven to have broken the fast in public during the days of [the Muslim fasting month of] Ramadan will be punished. Al-Tamimi added that anyone who is caught breaking the fast in public without regard for the feelings of those fasting will be given a month of imprisonment, and this will be implemented in all of the cities of the West Bank."
