PA to pay delayed wages of Gazan employees

"Head of the Gaza Public Employee Union Aref Abu Jarrad announced that next Tuesday (July 4, 2017] the remaining wages of the Gaza Strip employees will be paid. Abu Jarrad said in a press statement: 'What will be paid is the remaining part of the wages, which is half of the 70% [of the wages that is currently being paid],' and noted that this will happen next Tuesday. Abu Jarrad noted that the first payment, that included half of the 70%, was paid before Eid Al-Adha (i.e., Muslim “Sacrifice Feast” holiday)."
