Fatah in Lebanon praises Hezbollah

“Secretary of the Fatah Movement’s Lebanon Branch Hussein Fayyad welcomed a delegation from the Palestinian Liberation Front (i.e., PLF, a member of the PLO) led by PLF political bureau member Abbas Al-Jum’a, and in the presence of Al-Burj Al-Shamali Mayor Mustafa Sheitli, Director of Public Relations of Fatah’s Tyre Branch Abu Bassel Shihab, and Secretary of Fatah’s Sub-Branch at the Al-Rashidiya [Refugee] Camp Abu Muhammad Al-Nimr… The participants saluted the resistance led by Hezbollah on the anniversary of the July victory (i.e., the end of the Second Lebanon War) and its achievements today in the battle liberating Juroud Arsal from terror (i.e., the expulsion of Syrian rebels from the city back to Syria). They emphasized that the sacrifice of [Hezbollah’s] Martyrs (Shahids), wounded, and Jihad fighters who died in confrontations with the Zionist enemy and in the battle liberating Juroud Arsal from terror, as well as the Martyrs of the Lebanese army and the rest of the security forces and all of the Martyrs, will remain a beacon lighting the path of the struggle for the honor of Lebanon, Palestine, and the Arab nation.”
