“Israeli occupation forces raided several homes of prisoners and Martyrs (Shahids) in various neighborhoods of occupied Jerusalem on Tuesday evening [Aug. 15, 2017]…
The occupation police’s statement noted that among the houses that were destroyed was the home of Martyr Tareq Abu Arfa (i.e., terrorist, involved in murder of 2) (sic., Abu Arfa’s house was raided but not destroyed) – in the Ras Al-Amud neighborhood of the village of Silwan (i.e., neighborhood of Jerusalem), south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque – who took part in the kidnapping operation of Israeli soldier Nahshon Waxman in 1994. [The house was destroyed based] on the claim that the Hamas Movement is paying money to Martyr Abu Arfa’s mother.”
On Aug. 14, 2017, the Israeli Security Agency announced that a Hamas funding apparatus that was transferring money to terrorists’ families in Jerusalem had been busted, and the money had been seized in raids on the homes of the families, including that of the mother of terrorist Tareq Abu Arfa.
Tareq Abu Arfa – Hamas terrorist who participated in the kidnapping on Oct. 9, 1994, and the murder six days later, of Israeli soldier Nahson Waxman, during the Israeli army’s attempt to rescue him. Abu Arfa together with other terrorists was killed during the rescue attempt. Israeli soldier Nir Poraz, who led the attempted rescue, was also killed.
