Man from Gaza hopes for all-encompassing peace: “Israelis have a right to live and Palestinians have a right to live”
Official PA TV program I Call You, on Khan Yunis in the Gaza Strip, hosting the father of prisoner Ammar Al-Daghmeh, who is serving a 16-year prison sentence; PMW was unable to verify the nature of Al-Daghmeh’s crimes
Father of Ammar Al-Daghmeh: “I am full of hope that the moment will come when peace will reign – peace that will encompass all parts of Palestine – between the two peoples, Arab and Israeli, and even the whole Arab world and the entire world. We are human beings. We have a heart and feelings. Israelis have a right to live and Palestinians have a right to live. I say to the prisoners: ‘Redemption is near, Allah willing, and sometimes victory depends on you holding on for another hour.’”
