Fatah branch glorifies female suicide bomber and her “heroic operation”

The Palestinian self-sacrificing fighter (Fida’iya) carried out a heroic operation (i.e., terror attack), her body parts went flying and her head was separated from her body, but her hijab (religious headscarf) remained on her head.

Zainab Abu Salem, a daughter of the Askar refugee camp, was like 1,000 men when she decided on Sept. 22, [2004,] to carry out a Martyrdom-seeking (Istish’had) operation at the age of 18. A daughter of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, the armed faction of the Fatah Movement, she carried out a heroic operation in Jerusalem in revenge for the assassination of Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades general commander in the West Bank Naif Abu Sharakh (i.e., terrorist, involved in numerous attacks including murder of 23)…
After her death as a Martyr, an Agence France-Presse (AFP) photographer managed to take a picture of her head – after her body parts went flying due to the Martyrdom-seeking operation (i.e., due to the bomb blast) – and her hijab still remained on it…
May Allah have mercy on the Martyr and have her dwell together with the Martyrs and the righteous.”

Under it appears the logo of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, which shows two assault rifles over the Dome of the Rock. Under it appears a picture of former PLO and PA Chairman Yasser Arafat. On the bottom right of the image appears the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.

Zainab Abu Salem – Female suicide bomber from Fatah who blew herself up at the French Hill junction in Jerusalem on Sept. 22, 2004, murdering 2 Israeli border policemen and wounding approximately 30.

Naif Abu Sharakh was the commander of the Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades (Fatah’s military wing) in Nablus. He was involved in many terrorist attacks against Israel, including a double suicide bombing in Tel Aviv on Jan. 5, 2003 in which 23 people were murdered and dozens were injured. Sharakh was killed by the Israeli army on June 26, 2004.
