Head of the Committee of Prisoners’ Relatives in Jerusalem Amjad Abu Asab: “We will send greetings to the most veteran of the Jerusalem prisoners, prisoner Samir Abu Nimeh (i.e., terrorist, involved in murder of 1), who in another few days will begin his 32nd year in the occupation’s prisons. This heroic prisoner is 57 years old, and he is one of the heroes of the famous Mughrabi Gate operation (i.e., terror attack, 1 murdered and 69 wounded), which entered history in a prominent place and was carried out on Oct. 20, 1986 (sic., Oct. 15, 1986).”
Samir Abu Nimeh – Palestinian terrorist involved in an attack on Oct. 15, 1986, in which grenades were thrown at Israeli army soldiers and their families immediately after an induction ceremony at the Western Wall, murdering Dov Porat, the father of one of the recruits, and wounding 69 others. The PLO claimed responsibility for the attack.
