PA District Governor: The “occupation” is “the greatest cancer”

"The [Palestine] Olympic Committee yesterday [Oct. 11, 2017] hosted a press conference in order to announce the opening of the Pink Day Competition, in the presence of District Governor of Ramallah and El-Bireh Dr. Laila Ghannam… Dr. Ghannam said that Palestinian women - who are struggling with the greatest cancer, which is the occupation - can overcome this disease, and called on women to conduct early examinations in order to reduce the spread of the disease [i.e., breast cancer] among our women, who constitute half of society."
