Abbas condemns terror attack in Egypt

“[PA] President Mahmoud Abbas firmly condemned the cowardly terror attack that harmed the Egyptian police and military forces, and harmed Egypt’s security and stability (see note below –Ed.). The president expressed his solidarity and stand – together with the Palestinian people – alongside Egyptian President [Abdel Fattah El-Sisi], the government of Egypt, and the Egyptian people as they deal with blind extremist terror.”

On Oct. 20, 2017, 54 Egyptian police officers were killed in an ambush during a raid on a terrorist hideout in Giza province, southwest of Cairo.
