The image shows a drawing of a man with a keffiyeh (Arab headdress) around his neck, and a necklace on which is a key symbolizing the return of the Palestinian refugees and a Palestinian flag along with the number “69” representing 69 years since the “Nakba” – i.e., “the catastrophe,” the Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel. The man is seen ripping up the Balfour Declaration (written in Arabic,) whose title is also written in English: “Balfour Declaration.”
In the upper left corner appears the number “100” in a reference to the 100th anniversary of the Balfour Declaration, and next to it “#Balfour_the_crime_of_the_century” in Arabic and “#MakeItRight” in English.
