Abbas’ advisor: The entire world will pay the price if the US recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of Israel

Official PA TV Newsreader: "In a speech on behalf of President Mahmoud Abbas and in his presence, during a ceremony in the presidential headquarters in Ramallah for Prophet [Muhammad's] birth, it was emphasized that the [Palestinian] leadership won't be obligated to anything if the US recognizes Jerusalem as the capital of Israel."
Supreme Shari’ah Judge and Mahmoud Abbas’ advisor on Religious and Islamic Affairs, Mahmoud Al-Habbash: "Any change in the political reality in Jerusalem means that there will be no agreement at all and there will be no peace process. The Palestinian people, the Arab and Islamic nation, and we ourselves will not be obligated to anything. We will not be obligated to anything. The entire world, Allah forbid, is liable to pay the price for any foolishness, such as that which targets Jerusalem."
