Official PA daily columnist: Israel is the enemy of all the Arabs and targets all the Arab states

Special broadcast on official PA TV after US President Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital.

Official PA TV Host: “(US President Donald Trump’s speech is broadcast –Ed.) Well then, that was the speech of American President Donald Trump, who is now signing this American decision. He said that making [this decision] by signing [it] proves that he is brave, and according to it Jerusalem is the capital of Israel. He asks the leaders and everyone to keep the quiet and join this call [to recognize Jerusalem]. He has now made this oppressive and discriminatory decision, this decision that puts the American administration into the rubric of hate, lawlessness, and political absurdity, while President Trump speaks about calm in order to move towards the peace process…
This distancing from all of the agreements, the understandings with the Americans, the agreements signed with the occupation state Israel – all of this is now endangered. Now there is an overruling of all of these agreements and understandings, and [they are] reaching this stage of recognition [of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital], or as Trump said, that he confirms that Jerusalem is the capital of the Jewish people and state. Accordingly, he is placing a limit and ruining any opportunity to establish a Palestinian state according to the agreements, the peace process, and the international legitimacy, and is even doing this in a way that supports and strengthens the position of terror.”
Official PA daily columnist Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul: “Correct. That is 100% correct. Since [Trump] took office on Jan. 20 [2017], he has not worked a single day for peace. All that there has been is propaganda and American cartoons or Indian movies. Therefore, [the peace deal] does not touch on [the details of Trump’s peace deal regarding what will be] today [and] tomorrow, [as well as] the deal of the century, while not defining the characteristics of the deal and its principles. Now that has ended...
I call on all the Arab brothers - if they want peace and war on terror. After all, Israel is their enemy [too], and not [just] the enemy of the Palestinian Arab people. It not only targets the Palestinian Arab people, but it targets all the Arab states. ISIS and [Jabhat] Al-Nusra and all the Jihadi and Takfiri organizations are an Israeli-American product. If [the Arabs] are true brothers and consider the Palestinian issue the central issue of the Arabs, they must take responsibility."

Jabhat Al-Nusra is a branch of the Al-Qaeda terrorist organization operating in Syria and Lebanon, formed in January 2012. It is an Islamic Sunni, Jihadist group fighting against the Syrian government forces in the Syrian civil war, in order to establish an Islamic state in Syria.

US recognition of Jerusalem as capital of Israel - On Dec. 6, 2017, US President Donald Trump gave a speech formally recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and stating that he had instructed the State Department to begin preparations to transfer the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Trump concluded by stating that the US is still fully committed to the peace process in the Middle East. Following his speech, Trump signed the waiver to delay the transfer of the embassy, and apparently will continue to do so until preparations for the transfer have been completed.
