The PA’s terror promotion in response to American recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital is including calls for suicide bombing. While Palestinian Media Watch has reported on the calls for rage and violence by the PA and Fatah, official PA TV has also broadcast a music video that goes beyond this: It explicitly encourages Palestinians to seek Martyrdom-death as suicide bombers.

PA TV has broadcast this music video at least twice since Trump's Jerusalem announcement. The song calls on Palestinians to become “Martyrs” for the Al-Aqsa Mosque and includes two photos of female suicide bombers Wafa Idris and Ayyat Al-Akhras who murdered 3 and wounded 128. The lyrics remind Palestinians of the Islamic belief that male Martyrs marry 72 dark eyed virgins in Paradise, stating their “marriage contracts” have been “written in blood”:

"Al-Aqsa has called, and its call is precious
For its sake, life is insignificant, even if it's precious...
God, grant us Martyrdom there
God, promise us, we beg of you...
A million grooms and brides at the celebration
Have written the marriage contract in blood on the veil
(visual of suicide bomber Wafa Idris, killed 1 and wounded over 100, in Jerusalem attack)
A million grooms and brides at the celebration
Have written the marriage contract in blood on the veil
(visual of suicide bomber Ayyat Al-Akhras, killed 2 and wounded 28, in Jerusalem attack)
Filled with desire, they are going to the Paradise of immortals
To a wedding procession with angels that fill Palestine with light."

official PA TV, Dec. 11 and 17, 2017]

A female Palestinian terrorist captured on the way to commit a suicide bombing in 2004, explained during an interview in prison that had she succeeded, she would have become “one of the Dark-Eyed Virgins,” and married "one of the Martyrs.”

This music video calling for suicide bombings was broadcast on Fatah's Awdah TV at least twice earlier this year as documented by Palestinian Media Watch.

Now PA TV has broadcast it as well.

Suicide bombing was the modus operandi of the PA terror campaign from 2000 to 2005, which Palestinians called the “Al-Aqsa Intifada.” Another PA leader, Deputy District Governor of Jerusalem Abdallah Siyam compared the current situation to the “Al-Aqsa Intifada.” He said when Jerusalem is threatened Palestinians “wage intifada,” and added: “Today we are in this situation.” [Official PA TV, Palestine This Morning, Dec. 6, 2017]

Siyam also called on Palestinians to engage in “uprisings” in front of US embassies:

“[We] need an uprising in front of every US embassy and [to take] a stand that warns [them] that this disregard for the red lines and for Jerusalem is complete disregard for the stability of the region.”

The following is a longer excerpt of the statement by PA Deputy District Governor of Jerusalem Abdallah Siyam:

When there's harm to Jerusalem - Jerusalem wages intifada, as do the people of Jerusalem, the entire Palestinian people, and all of the free people in the world. This is a matter that we remember well with the outbreak of the [second] Intifada (i.e., PA terror campaign) in 2000, when [former Israeli PM Ariel] Sharon invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Al-Aqsa Mosque plaza... When Jerusalem is in a certain danger, you find there creativity in the struggle and unprecedented unity. This leads to victories and intifada in Jerusalem's favor. Today we are in this situation. We feel this sudden danger that surrounds Jerusalem following this oppressive and biased American decision [to recognize Jerusalem as Israel’s capital]... [We] need an uprising in front of every US embassy and [to take] a stand that warns [them] that this disregard for the red lines and for Jerusalem is complete disregard for the stability of the region.”
