PFLP delegation meets with head of Hezbollah terror org, expresses “preparedness to participate in any activity against the Zionist enemy and in building a joint plan of resistance”

      "A delegation of senior officials from the political bureau of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) (i.e., a member of the PLO – led by Deputy Secretary-General [of the PFLP] Ahmed Fuad, Maher Al-Taher, Abu Ali Hassan, and Marwan Al-Fahoum - met with Secretary-General of Hezbollah Hassan Nasrallah.
The PFLP notice that reached [the independent Palestinian news agency] Wattan today, Wednesday [Dec. 20, 2017], noted that 'the meeting lasted several hours, during which the PFLP delegation reviewed the Arab and international situation in general, and the Palestinian situation and the Arab-Zionist conflict in particular. The meeting also dealt with American President Donald Trump's decision regarding [recognizing] Jerusalem [as Israel’s capital] and its consequences.' …
Nasrallah noted that 'The axis of resistance has achieved great accomplishments in the struggle against terror, and that now it has enough time to be available for the Arab-Zionist conflict and to mobilize the energies and capabilities for any future confrontation with the occupation.' …
He also emphasized that intifada is the option that the Palestinian people and its national and Islamic forces agree upon, and expressed optimism about its continuation and the achievement of its goals.
The PFLP's delegation briefed His Honor [Nasrallah] regarding the developments in the Palestinian arena and the PFLP’s view and position on them, and its preparedness to participate in any activity against the Zionist enemy and in building a joint plan of resistance against the occupation. This is in addition to its interest in returning the national unity, and its preparedness to invest every effort for the continuation of the intifada."

US recognition of Jerusalem as capital of Israel - On Dec. 6, 2017, US President Donald Trump formally recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital and instructed the State Department to begin preparations to transfer the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Trump added that the final borders of Jerusalem will be determined during negotiations.
