Independent Palestinian news site publishes warnings and threats against Israel made by the terrorist organization the Al-Aqsa Martyrs` Brigades
Headline: “Regarding [Islamic] Jihad, Al-Aqsa Brigades: We warn Israel against harming any faction”
“The Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades ‘Al-Asifa Army,’ the military wing of the Fatah Movement [in Gaza], warned the Israeli occupation against singling out any Palestinian faction, referring to the occupation’s threats to assassinate leaders of the Islamic Jihad Movement and harm its infrastructure (see note below –Ed.).
The brigades emphasized in a statement today, Thursday [Jan. 4, 2018], that the Palestinian factions are standing as one and waging a unified battle against the occupation, and that they will not allow the singling out of any resistance faction.
They also noted that the occupation’s threats to launch additional aggression against the Gaza Strip are nothing but the beginning of an additional defeat of [the occupation], because the Al-Aqsa Brigades ‘Al-Asifa Army’ and all of the resistance factions will not sit idly by, and will respond with full force.”
In response to a mortar attack from Gaza on Dec. 29, 2017, Israeli Minister of Defense Avigdor Liberman said the following in an Arabic-subtitled video posted Jan. 4, 2018: “Friday’s shelling was conducted by the Islamic Jihad, and we know who specifically was behind it.
