Fatah Official glorifies suicide bombers responsible for the death of numerous Israelis: “[He] carried out a heroic self-sacrificing operation”
Headline: “Al-Wahidi: The occupation authorities are committing a forbidden act by holding the bodies of the Palestinian and Arab Martyrs”
“Fatah Movement Representative in the [Palestinian] National and Islamic Forces’ Prisoner Committee Nashat Al-Wahidi condemned the fact that the Israeli occupation is holding the bodies of the Palestinian and Arab Martyrs (Shahids) in the numbered cemeteries (i.e., Israeli cemeteries for terrorists and enemy soldiers) that desecrate the dignity of the dead…
Al-Wahidi noted that the occupation state already conducted a DNA test on July 30, 2017, under the supervision of the International Committee of the Red Cross, on the body of heroic Martyr Anwar Muhammad Attiyah Sukkar (i.e., suicide bomber, involved in double bombing in which 22 Israelis were murdered), who was born in the Shuja’iya neighborhood [of Gaza] on Dec. 10, 1972, and carried out a heroic self-sacrificing operation (i.e., suicide bombing) at Beit Lid with his brother and comrade Martyr Salah Abd Al-Hamid Shaker on Sunday morning, Jan. 22, 1995. This operation led to the deaths of over 20 Israeli soldiers and the wounding of dozens. The occupation state has also conducted DNA tests on the body of female Martyr Hanadi Jaradat (i.e., suicide bomber, murdered 21) from Jenin, who carried out a heroic self-sacrificing operation on Oct. 4, 2003, at a restaurant in Haifa, which led to the deaths of 19 Israelis (sic., 21).”
The Cemeteries for Enemy Casualties are two burial sites maintained by the Israeli army for burying the bodies of enemy soldiers as well as terrorists. They are fenced and well-marked. Graves have markers instead of gravestones. Burial is temporary, on the assumption that the bodies will eventually be returned to their countries of origin. No ceremony is held. The bodies are buried in numbered caskets after their identities are documented.
Abd Al-Halim Sakeb Omar Al-Balbisi – Palestinian terrorist who planned the double suicide bombing on January 22, 1995, at the Bet Lid Junction, near Netanya, in which 21 Israeli soldiers and 1 Israeli civilian were murdered. The attack was carried out by terrorists Salah Shaker and Anwar Sukkar. Al-Balbisi is serving 23 life sentences.
Hanadi Jaradat – Female suicide bomber from the Islamic Jihad who blew herself up in a restaurant in Haifa on Oct. 4, 2003, murdering 21 people and wounding over 50.
