Chairman of the Political Committee of the [Palestinian] National Council Khaled Mismar said: ‘Our people that is standing firm on the occupied homeland expects true support from this conference – not only through pretty statements and speeches that will be given by those who are invited, whom we thank. Our people in all of its cities, villages, and refugee camps wants to feel this support on the ground, particularly in occupied Jerusalem, in the captive Al-Aqsa Mosque, and in the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. There are many ways to send this support, and the participants in the conference will be able to find a way to do that.’”
