PA daily: Settlers “broke into” the Al-Aqsa Mosque, heard about “the alleged ‘Temple’ during their provocative and suspicious tours” of the Temple Mount
Headline: “40 settlers invade the Al-Aqsa Mosque”
“Forty settlers broke into the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque yesterday morning [Feb. 21, 2018] through the Mughrabi Gate under heavy security from the occupation forces. Sources said that the settlers listened to explanations about the alleged ‘Temple’ during their provocative and suspicious tours throughout the mosque.”
The PA and its leaders consider all of the Temple Mount an integral part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Therefore they view any presence of Jews on the mount as an “invasion” or “break-in.” It should be noted that Jews who visit the Temple Mount only enter some sections of the open areas, and do not enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque or the Dome of the Rock.
