Fatah official: “Our blood is a small price to pay for our homeland… the path of Martyrdom will remain open until the liberation of the homeland [and] Fatah is continuing on the path of Martyrdom”
Headline: “Helles: Our blood is a small price to pay for our homeland and our honor”
“Fatah Movement Central Committee member and Fatah Commissioner of Mobilization and Organization in the Gaza Strip Ahmed Helles said that Fatah is continuing its path of struggle until the establishment of our independent state whose capital is Jerusalem.
At a rally to mark the Martyrs (Shahids) of the Khuza’a massacre (refers to March 8, 2002 Israeli army raid in which 16 Palestinians were killed, in response to attack by terrorist Muhammad Farahat, who murdered 5 –Ed.) in Khan Yunis, Helles added that our blood is a small price to pay for our homeland and our honor. This is particularly so because our commanders are in the field before our soldiers in order to sacrifice of themselves, and today is the day of loyalty to the Martyrs and the blood, as our blood that has been spilled for the land and homeland raises the souls of our people and our nation. He also emphasized that the path of Martyrdom (Shahada) will remain open until the liberation of the homeland, that Fatah is continuing on the path of Martyrdom, and that the most beautiful thing among us is our Martyrs. Fatah will continue to go on this path until the liberation of our national land and the establishment of our independent state whose capital is Jerusalem.”
Muhammad Farahat – 19-year-old Palestinian terrorist who murdered 5 yeshiva (religious studies academy) students and wounded 23 at the Atzmona Yeshiva, in Gush Katif in the Gaza Strip, on March 7, 2002. Farahat was killed by Israeli soldiers during the attack.
