- “to settle accounts with the Arabs... over the defeats [Arab Muslims] inflicted on the Crusaders”
- to serve “global capitalism’s goals and plans to take control of the resources of the Arab nation’s peoples”
- Israel - “the colonialist satanic plant” - will not survive because the “Zionist project... is a project that rejects life”

The Palestinian Authority continues to deny Israel’s historical right to exist, claiming Israel is merely a colony of the West created illegally and it is destined “not to survive.” In an op-ed by a regular columnist in the official PA daily, Israel is described as “the colonialist satanic plant in the region on the ruins of the Palestinian people’s Nakba.” The Nakba or “the catastrophe,” is the Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel:
“The owner of the project of Israel is the West, the entire capitalist West, and the fact that there are differences of opinion and even criticism between the capitalist bodies... does not in any way mean that they have a disagreement about protecting and perpetuating the status of Israel - the colonialist satanic plant in the region on the ruins of the Palestinian people’s Nakba - and providing all of its monetary, financial, security, and logistic needs.”

In his op-ed, Omar Hilmi Al-Ghoul lists reasons why the “capitalist West” wanted to use the Jews as “a tool to carry out the colonialist project in the warm Arab bosom,” among them the wish to get rid of the Jews. The PA and Fatah have repeated this claim numerous times as Palestinian Media Watch has reported.“1. Getting rid of the problem of the Jewish ghetto;
2. Settling accounts with the Jews on the part of the Christians in the Anglo-Saxon West given religious and financial-monetary considerations;
3. Serving global capitalism’s goals and plans to take control of the resources of the Arab nation’s peoples...
4. Fragmenting the Arab parties of unity and power to settle accounts with the Arabs, the owners and pioneers of the Islamic Arab culture, for the defeats that they inflicted on the Crusaders, and also to prevent their development, unity, and so forth...”
Lastly, the PA daily’s writer insists that Israel is “temporary,” claiming “its Anglo-Saxon owners” will stop supporting it when it “becomes a burden.” He predicts the State of Israel will cease to exist because the “Zionist project... is a project that rejects life”:
“This Zionist project is a temporary project in the eyes of its Anglo-Saxon owners, and regardless of how long it continues, it will stop the moment that the West with all of its capitalist components feels that it has become a burden. However, as long as it achieves the goals required of it, it will continue to exist. Therefore, to the extent that the national, popular, political, and diplomatic struggle develops, we will achieve two goals simultaneously: 1. To enable building foundations for a political, possible, and accepted agreement; 2. The splitting and fragmenting of the Zionist project, because it will not be able to continue to exist without the Anglo-Saxon financial and security aid, and particularly because it is a project that rejects life.”

“The core and essence of the Anglo-Saxon-Israeli connection were never a secret to anyone, or unclear and vague, because their foundations are obvious and clear, and they are based on the mutual relationship between the Anglo-Saxon decision maker and funder and the Zionist project, so that it will carry out the role and mission required of it. Therefore, the owner of the project of Israel is the West, the entire capitalist West, and the fact that there are differences of opinion and even criticism between the capitalist bodies according to hierarchy and status does not in any way mean that they have a disagreement about protecting and perpetuating the status of Israel - the colonialist satanic plant in the region on the ruins of the Palestinian people’s Nakba (i.e., “the catastrophe,” the Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel) - and providing all of its monetary, financial, security, and logistic needs. This is in conjunction with limiting the Palestinian national project to a minimum in a way that will satisfy and match the outlook of the leaders of the colonialist Zionist project, who in effect went from being completely subordinate to being subordinate and small partners in the imperialist equation in the region after the 1967 war (i.e., the Six Day War).
The use of the members of the Jewish religion as a tool to carry out the colonialist project in the warm Arab bosom was not arbitrary or a result of ignorance, but rather stemmed from a deeply calculated colonialist analysis. What is more, it even preceded the Basel Conference (i.e., First Zionist Congress) in Switzerland in 1897, as it had been proposed since the 17th century to use the Jews to serve the wishes of the West in order to achieve several goals simultaneously, among them: 1. Getting rid of the problem of the Jewish ghetto; 2. Settling accounts with the Jews on the part of the Christians in the Anglo-Saxon West given religious and financial-monetary considerations; 3. Serving global capitalism’s goals and plans to take control of the resources of the Arab nation’s peoples, and to use the control over the region as part of the conflict with the other international axes over the distribution of influence between them; 4. Fragmenting the Arab parties of unity and power to settle accounts with the Arabs, the owners and pioneers of the Islamic Arab culture, for the defeats that they inflicted on the Crusaders, and also to prevent their development, unity, and so forth...
In November 1917, the UK published the promise of its Foreign Secretary James Arthur Balfour (i.e., the Balfour Declaration) to establish ‘a national homeland for the Jews’ in Palestine, and provided all of the conditions for its success: 1. Manpower: by facilitating organized migration to Palestine; 2. Lands: through expropriation, stealing, and buying a small part of them from Lebanese families; 3. Economy: by building the material and industrial basis in the 1930s; 4. Security establishment: by establishing the Jewish Brigade in the British army and establishing Zionist terror organizations: Haganah, Stern [Lehi], Hashomer, Irgun, Etzel, and Palmach (sic., pre-state Jewish military groups established by Jews), all of which played a role in building the foundations of the project...

The Balfour Declaration of Nov. 2, 1917 was a letter from British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour to Baron Rothschild stating that “His Majesty's government views with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people.” In 1922, the League of Nations adopted this and made the British Mandate “responsible for putting into effect the declaration,” which led to the UN vote in 1947 and the establishment of the State of Israel.
