PA PM: “I am honored today to meet with the families of the Martyrs of freedom and human dignity… The rights of the Martyrs’ family members are protected under all conditions”
Headline: “Hamdallah: The rights of the Martyrs’ family members are protected under all conditions and despite all of the challenges”
“[PA] Prime Minister Rami Hamdallah said: ‘We demand international unity that is as extensive as possible around His Honor [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas’ call to convene an international conference that will determine a multilateral international mechanism to sponsor the peace process…’ This was said during [Hamdallah's] speech at the feast breaking the fast for needy families of Martyrs (Shahids) and prisoners, which was organized by the Fatah Movement yesterday [May 25, 2018] in the town of Anabta, in the Tulkarem district… Hamdallah added: ‘I am honored today to meet with the families of the Martyrs of freedom and human dignity, each of whose name constitutes a symbol of uncompromising struggle for freedom and liberation. All of the glory to our righteous Martyrs; may Allah wrap their pure souls in His mercy. Allow me to thank the Fatah Movement in Anabta and the national institutions in it for organizing this feast breaking the Ramadan fast… The least we can do to honor our Martyrs is to show interest in their family members and unite around them. Regarding this, I emphasize before all of you that the rights of the Martyrs’ family members are protected under all conditions and regardless of the challenges. This is not under any circumstances charity.’”
