Birthday in Paradise!

Suicide bomber “preferred”
celebrating her birthday in Paradise
- Fatah lauds murderer of 6 as “heroic female Martyr”
  • “Her desire to take revenge against the Jews” was stronger than her desire to blow out her birthday candles
  • “We all bow in admiration and appreciation before the soul of heroic Martyrdom-seeker Andalib Takatka”
  • Fatah, about another female suicide bomber who murdered 2:
“Ayyat Al-Akhras, the Palestinian self-sacrificing fighter and heroic martyr... sacrificed her soul... for the liberation of Palestine"
by Nan Jacques Zilberdik

Emphasizing the message to Palestinians that “sacrificing” oneself for “Palestine” and dying as a “Martyr” while carrying out a terror attack against Israelis is an admirable act, the Bethlehem branch of Abbas’ Fatah Movement lauded the female suicide bomber Andalib Takatka, who murdered 6 when she carried out a suicide bombing in 2002.

Fatah stated that the suicide bomber hurried and carried out her attack a few days before her birthday because she “preferred” celebrating in Paradise, and that “her desire to take revenge against the Jews” was stronger than her desire to blow out birthday candles:

Posted text: "Sixteen years ago, on April 12, 2002, heroic self-sacrificing fighter Andalib Takatka carried out a self-sacrificing operation in occupied Jerusalem that led to the death of 6 Zionists and the wounding of another 85...
It was a deeply moving sight to see Andalib read her will... while holding Allah's book and saying: 'This life is fleeting, pointless, and worthless, and the best thing man seeks is a dignified life in Paradise.' ... Andalib carried out the April 12, 2002 self-sacrificing operation, and did not wait until Sunday, April 14, in order to celebrate her 20th birthday. This was because she preferred to celebrate it in a different place and a different manner, and she hurried to extinguish the flame of her desire to take revenge against the Jews instead ofextinguishing her 20th candle in her father's house...
We all bow in admiration and appreciation before the soul of heroic Martyrdom (Shahada) seeker Andalib Takatka."

Another post, by Fatah’s Jerusalem branch, lauded the suicide bomber as “heroic Martyrdom-seeker Andalib Takatka” and as being “more honorable than all of us," sent her “one thousand blessings,” and included a poster with the text:

"Fight them; Allah will punish them by your hands and will disgrace them and give you victory over them and satisfy the breasts of a believing people [Quran, Sura 9:14, Sahih International translation]”

Earlier, Fatah’s Bethlehem branch honored a different female suicide bomber, Ayyat Al-Akhras, who murdered 2 in 2002:

Posted text: "So that we will not forget the blood and souls of our Martyrs: 16 years ago today, March 29, 2002, Ayyat Al-Akhras, the Palestinian self-sacrificing fighter and heroic Martyr, a resident of the Deheisheh refugee camp... ascended [to Heaven] while resisting the oppression, brutality, and terror of the Zionist occupation forces. She sacrificed her soul, which she placed in her palm, for the liberation of Palestine - all of Palestine. Long live free and Arab Palestine, Eternity and glory to our righteous Martyrs."

Andalib Khalil Muhammad Suleiman or Andalib Takatka was a female suicide bomber from Fatah who carried out a suicide bombing attack on Jaffa Road in Jerusalem near the Mahane Yehuda outdoor market on April 12, 2002, murdering 6 and wounding more than 80.

Ayyat Al-Akhras was the youngest female Palestinian suicide bomber (aged 17). A member of Fatah, Al-Akhras carried out a suicide bombing attack near a Jerusalem supermarket on March 29, 2002, murdering 2 and wounding 28.

The following is a longer excerpt of Fatah’s post lauding suicide bomber Andalib Takatka:

After the battles in the Jenin refugee camp (i.e., part of Israel's Operation Defensive Shield military operation in April 2002 to destroy the Palestinian terror infrastructure), there was a need for an act that would prove to the world the failure of [then Israeli Prime Minister Ariel] Sharon's terror and Operation Defensive Shield. It was a deeply moving sight to see Andalib read her will before the public while holding Allah's book and saying: 'This life is fleeting, pointless, and worthless, and the best thing man seeks is a dignified life in Paradise.' On the morning of the day of the operation, Andalib said to her mother before leaving that she should prepare herself for happy news in the evening that would surprise her, and the mother thought that her fiance would come to visit her. However, Andalib carried out the April 12, 2002 self-sacrificing operation, and did not wait until Sunday, April 14, in order to celebrate her 20th birthday. This was because she preferred to celebrate it in a different place and a different manner, and she hurried to extinguish the flame of her desire to take revenge against the Jews instead of extinguishing her 20th candle in her father's house, which is located in the village of Beit Fajjar in the Bethlehem district in the southern West Bank...
We all bow in admiration and appreciation before the soul of heroic Martyrdom (Shahada) seeker Andalib Takatka, who succeeded in standing before the occupation and taking revenge for the innocent childhood that the occupation murders day after day in occupied Palestine."

Jenin - refugee camp north of Nablus that was a major hotbed of terrorism in the PA terror campaign 2000-2005 (the second Intifada). To reduce the attacks, Israeli forces entered Jenin on April 3, 2002, to conduct searches as part of Operation Defensive Shield, which was carried out to destroy the terror infrastructure in the West Bank, and several days of intense fighting against Palestinian terrorists in booby-trapped houses ensued. While the PA claimed that the Israeli forces committed a “massacre” and killed hundreds of civilians, a UN report refuted these claims, confirming that 52 Palestinians were killed in the battle of which the majority were terrorists. 23 Israeli soldiers were also killed in the fighting.

Operation Defensive Shield - a large Israeli military operation in April 2002 in response to the many suicide bombings during PA terror campaign (the second Intifada, 2000-2005). Israel put Arafat under siege and invaded six of the largest West Bank cities in an attempt to destroy the terror infrastructure.
