"The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) held [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas and the [PA] national unity government fully and directly responsible for the continued imposition of sanctions on the Gaza Strip, and particularly the cessation of payment of the salaries or the cuts [in salaries] of thousands of workers in the Gaza Strip. The PFLP said that all of the excuses that the leadership and unity government are providing are unacceptable, and reveal malicious intentions whose goal is to subdue the members of our people in the Gaza Strip…
It emphasized that those who are starving the Gaza Strip and imposing a siege on it are isolating themselves from their people, from its cause, and from its resistance…
The PFLP emphasized that it would reveal the names of the people in the close and corrupt circle around the leadership, which is fed by our people's money and is controlling them… and working hard day and night in order to destroy our people’s unity and harm its resolve and resistance to the occupation."
The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) has planned and carried out numerous terror attacks against Israeli civilians since its founding in 1967 and throughout the Palestinian terror campaign between 2000- 2005 (the Intifada).
