PA Security Forces employ force against anti-PA demonstrators in Ramallah

“The [PA] Security Forces this evening, Wednesday [June 14, 2018], suppressed a peaceful procession demanding to remove the sanctions against the Gaza Strip, which was organized by the Remove the Sanctions Against Gaza movement in the Al-Manara Square in the center of Ramallah. A reporter of [the UK Arab news website] Al-Araby Al-Jadeed said that Palestinian security members in civilian clothing holding electric shockers attacked the demonstrators and seized the telephones of several of them.
She [the reporter] also noted that the fate of 10 of the young people who were arrested is still unknown, and all of the participants took a beating, whether they were young men, young women, or journalists. In addition, she noted that security members in civilian clothing wearing Fatah Movement hats held a counter-procession in the Al-Manara Square in Ramallah, simultaneously with the procession of the [Remove the Sanctions Against Gaza] movement, and attacked the demonstrators.”
