“Supreme Shari’ah Judge of Palestine and [PA] President [Mahmoud Abbas’] advisor on Religious and Islamic Affairs Mahmoud Al-Habbash warned of the desecration and attack against the sanctity of the Ibrahimi Mosque (i.e., Cave of the Patriarchs) in Hebron, due to the fact that Israeli terror groups organized music and s inging performances that were conveyed in a direct broadcast on the official Israeli media outlets… Al-Habbash demanded that the members of the Palestinian people defend their holy sites, carry out Ribat (i.e., religious conflict/war over land claimed to be Islamic) in them, increase their presence within them, go out against the occupation state’s crazy attack, and unify ranks behind the leadership in order to defend the holy sites and punish the occupation state for the crimes and acts of forgery of the culture and history that it is committing.”
