PA school in Beit Awwa renamed as “The Martyr Dalal Mughrabi Elementary School for Girls”

Picture posted on the Facebook page of the Martyr Dalal Mughrabi Elementary School for Girls

The picture is the new cover and profile picture of the Facebook page of the Martyr (Shahida) Dalal Mughrabi Elementary School for Girls (i.e., terrorist who led murder of 37, 12 of them children), and shows a sign with the following text, proving the school's name was changed from the Beit Awwa Elementary School for Girls:
"The State of Palestine
[PA] Ministry of Education and Higher Education
Education and Higher Education Directorate (i.e., branch of the PA Ministry of Education) - Southern Hebron
Martyr Dalal Mughrabi Elementary School for Girls "

An old profile picture from May 2014 shows the school’s logo with its previous name: "The Beit Awwa Elementary School for Girls"

An old cover picture December 2016 shows a sign proving the school was still named “The Beit Awwa Elementary School for Girls” then.

The Martyr Dalal Mughrabi Elementary School for Girls is not to be confused with the Dalal Mughrabi Coed Elementary School, which was renamed "The Belgian School - Tala’ei Al-Janoub" in August 2018 after PMW exposed the use of Belgian funding for a school commemorating a terrorist murderer. Adding to the potential confusion is the fact that the school funded by Belgium was previously also called the Beit Awwa Elementary School for Girls before being turned into a school for both boys and girls and having its name changed to honor terrorist Dalal Mughrabi, at which point another school (the one in the Facebook post above) was given the name the Beit Awwa Elementary School for Girls. See link to bulletin above for more informaton.

Dalal Mughrabi led the most lethal terror attack in Israel’s history, known as the Coastal Road massacre, in 1978, when she and other Fatah terrorists hijacked a bus on Israel's Coastal Highway, murdering 37 civilians, 12 of them children, and wounding over 70.
