Al-Habbash emphasized during the meeting that the Palestinian leadership, led by President Mahmoud Abbas, continues to oppose all of the suspicious plans and initiatives that the US and Israel are leading in order to eliminate the Palestinian cause through what is called ‘the deal of the century’ (i.e., refers to US President Donald Trump’s as yet unpublished Middle East peace plan) which negates the Palestinians’ right to their land and to establish their independent state whose capital is Jerusalem, expropriates the Palestinians’ right of return to their land, and swallows up what is left of the Palestinian territories for the benefit of the settlement cancer."
