For International Early Breast Cancer Discovery Awareness Day, Ghannam sent a message to the Palestinian women. She urged them to get checked for early discovery [of breast cancer], and emphasized that the Palestinian women – who are capable of dealing with the occupation, which is the largest and most dangerous cancer in the world – will be able to completely overcome any other cancer.”
