Even after 46 years, Fatah still lauds its Olympics massacre:
"Black September stunned the world
and made it hold its breath for more than 12 hours"

The world was enraged when 8 Palestinian terrorists from Fatah's Black September took 11 Israeli athletes and coaches hostage at the Olympics in Munich on September 5, 1972, and later murdered them.However, in Palestinian ideology the attack and the murders are presented as a "heroic" event to be proud of. Palestinian Media Watch has documented that both the PA and Fatah continuously glorify the terror attack, the terrorists themselves, and those who planned it.
On this year's anniversary of the murders of the Israeli athletes, Abbas' Fatah Movement posted a video that lauds the attack and praises Fatah's terror organization Black September that planned and carried out the attack. Fatah introduced the video of what it called the "heroic operation" with the following words:

Fatah produced a similar video lauding another attack in which 11 Israelis were murdered, when Fatah terrorists came from Lebanon and took hostages at the Tel Aviv Savoy Hotel in 1975, and murdered 8 of them. Fatah praised this attack as "greatest and most wonderful quality operation":  |
Muhammad Daoud Oudeh (Abu Daoud) - Member of the terror organization Black September and mastermind of the Munich Olympics massacre
Abu Iyad (Salah Khalaf) - PLO Chairman Yasser Arafat's deputy, one of the founders of Fatah, and head of the terror organization Black September. Attacks he planned include the murder of 11 Israeli athletes at the 1972 Munich Olympics and the murder of two American diplomats in Sudan (March 1, 1973). It is commonly assumed that his assassin, a former Fatah bodyguard, was sent by the Abu Nidal Organization, a rival Palestinian faction.
Savoy terror attack - In March 1975, eight terrorists traveled by boat from Lebanon to a Tel Aviv beach. They took over the Savoy Hotel and took guests as hostages. The next morning, Israeli forces attacked and killed seven of the terrorists. Eight hostages and three soldiers were murdered by the terrorists during the attack.
