Fatah official is against normalization of Arab countries’ relations with Israel, because Israeli leaders, the “criminal Zionist entity,” “murder our young people, destroy our homes, and desecrate our holy sites”
Official PA TV News, hosting Fatah Central Committee member, Fatah Commissioner of Mobilization and Organization in the West Bank, and PLO Central Council member Jamal Muhaisen
Fatah Central Committee member, Fatah Commissioner of Mobilization and Organization in the West Bank, and PLO Central Council member Jamal Muhaisen: “From here, from Jerusalem, we send a message to our Arab brothers who welcome the leaders of this criminal Zionist entity. As long as they murder our young people, destroy our homes, and desecrate our holy sites, the time has come for our Arab brothers to accept upon themselves the decisions of the Dhahran Committee (i.e., 2002 Arab League summit in Beirut that produced the Arab Peace Initiative conditioning ties with Israel on a peace deal)… These processes of welcoming the leaders of the Zionist entity in an Arab capital are a service to the Zionist entity and a deviation from morals, religion, politics, and that which is customary and accepted – and even from Arabness. Therefore, I again say we will not act politely with any one of them. Now we say: ‘Stop this free normalization’… In the end, we turn to the Arab members of our people – if you care about Jerusalem and if Jerusalem is one of your holy sites and part of your faith, you are welcome to tell your rulers: ‘Enough.’”
