Headline: "The occupation police chief and several ‘veterans’ invaded the Al-Aqsa Mosque"
"Dozens of Jewish rabbis and alleged 'Temple' organizations called to build the alleged 'Temple' at the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque during their celebrations in occupied Jerusalem two days ago [Jan. 23, 2019] over the publication of a new book entitled The Temple Mount in Jewish Law…
In conjunction, the occupation government's [Israeli] Minister of Public Security extremist Gilad Erdan sent a letter to the alleged Temple groups in which he congratulated them on the publication of a religious book that permits invading the Al-Aqsa Mosque."
The PA and its leaders consider all of the Temple Mount an integral part of the Al-Aqsa Mosque. Therefore they view any presence of Jews on the mount as an "invasion." It should be noted that Jews who visit the Temple Mount only enter some sections of the open areas, and do not enter the Al-Aqsa Mosque or the Dome of the Rock. Israeli police ban Jewish prayer at the Temple Mount because of threats of violence by Palestinians.
"Alleged Temple organizations" refer to religious Jewish movements including the Temple Mount Institute, the Temple Mount Heritage Foundation, the Initiative for Jewish Freedom on the Temple Mount, and Students for the Temple Mount, which spread awareness of the importance of the Temple Mount in Judaism and encourage people to visit the site.
