Hamas-affiliated website accuses PA security forces of collaborating with Israel to “assassinate” terrorist who murdered 2
Headline: “How did the PA Security Forces aid in the assassination of the one who carried out the operation in Salfit?”
“Satisfaction prevails among the occupation authorities after they succeeded in assassinating (sic., he was killed during an exchange of gunfire while resisting arrest) the one who carried out the heroic operation (i.e., terror attack) in Salfit, Omar Abu Laila (i.e., terrorist, murdered 2).
The occupation leaders are expressing their joy over having succeeded in assassinating Abu Laila, and emphasizing that the operation would not have been possible without the close security cooperation with the PA Security Forces in the occupied West Bank (sic., Abu Laila was found through Israeli intelligence efforts including the arrest of one of his key collaborators; Israeli leaders have not mentioned PA security cooperation in this context -Ed.).
A high ranking security source said that Israeli Security Agency (ISA) Chief Nadav Argaman called Head of [PA General] Intelligence [in the West Bank] Majed Faraj and thanked him for the information that the intelligence services in the West Bank provided to the ISA…
Occupied West Bank [PA] Police Commissioner Maj. Gen. Hazem Atallah said earlier: ‘We are fearlessly and unashamedly making efforts to find the one who carried out the spiteful operation in Salfit, so that the police command will become available to continue recovering Gaza, which was stolen by the sons of darkness’ (Atallah has denied having made any such statement –Ed.).”
