Advisor to PA President Mahmoud Abbas on Jerusalem Affairs Ahmed Al-Ruweidi: "What is happening in the Old City and its environs is talk of a complete seizing of control of the Old City [of Jerusalem] by presenting a plan, called ‘infrastructure renewal,’ while what is happening is an Israelization of the Old City and laying claim to its Islamic and Christian holy sites, together with the settlement plans in the area of the Old City, known as 'biblical parks.'"
