"is our bridge to freedom and independence"

Palestinian Media Watch has been exposing the Palestinian Authority's ongoing policy of glorifying terrorists and presenting them as role models. The PA has been focusing lately on terrorist Dalal Mughrabi, who committed the most lethal terror attack in Israel's history when she and other terrorists hijacked a bus in 1978, killing 37 Israelis.
Following PMW's bulletin that this coming Thursday the PA will inaugurate a square named after Mughrabi on the anniversary of the date of the terror attack, Israeli government "Minister Yuli Edelstein has asked [PM] Netanyahu to approach the American administration about stopping the event." [Haaretz, March 10, 2010]
But according to the PA papers the inauguration and naming of the square will take place and youth are being involved in the preparations which are seen to be of educational value:
Coordinator of activities in Nablus, Hasan Fakih, said that this participation [by the youth] was meant to reinforce values of volunteerism and loyalty to the blood of the Shahids (Martyrs), who sacrificed their blood for the sake of the Palestinian cause. He noted the need to reinforce national concepts and to recall the symbols of the Palestinian struggle among the generations [to come].
Moreover, speaking in the name of PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, the Sec. Gen of the Presidency Tayeb Abd Al-Rahim honored Mughrabi and other terrorists as the "bridge to our freedom":
A Palestinian journalist writing in the official PA daily, described March as a "month of women, roses and flowers," and naming the special women's events she included International Women's day, Mothers' day and the anniversary of the terrorist Dalal Mughrabi's killing of 37 Israelis, all as special events of the month of March:
Nufudh Al-Bakri [journalist for PA official daily Al-Hayat Al-Jadida]:
