Fatah official: We will return to liberate Jerusalem just as Muhammad liberated Mecca

Posted text: “In the presence of noble Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and in light of his Hijra (i.e., “journey/migration,” refers to the journey of Muhammad and his followers from Mecca to Medina in 622 C.E.) that became the Hijri calendar, a new year begins from [the date of] his Hijra, and 71 years and then some since our Hijra and Nakba (i.e., “the catastrophe,” the Palestinian term for the establishment of the State of Israel). And just as our Messenger, peace be upon him, returned and conquered Mecca, so too we will undoubtedly return to liberate Jerusalem the capital.”
