PA PM: We will treat all of the territories as area A

Official PA TV News, on PA Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh meeting with the leadership council of Wadi Al-Hummus where Israel recently demolished illegal buildings – see note below

Official PA TV newsreader: “Palestinian [PA] Prime Minister Muhammad Shtayyeh: ‘Israel no longer respects any signed agreement, and it treats all of the territories and [their] classifications as Area C (i.e., land under full Israeli administration according to the Oslo Accords). Therefore, we will treat all of the territories as Area A (i.e., land under full PA administration according to the Oslo Accords).’ Shtayyeh said this while meeting with the committee to defend the Wadi Al-Hummus neighborhood in the village of Sur Baher (i.e., a predominantly Arab neighborhood of Jerusalem).”
