While hosting a delegation of descendants from Ramallah in his office in Ramallah today (Wednesday) [July 31, 2019], the prime minister said: ‘Our conflict with the Jews is not religious, but rather a political conflict with the State of Israel that is refusing to recognize us as a state and is fighting our narrative, expropriating our lands, and imposing a financial and military siege on us.’

The prime minister said: ‘There has been Islamic-Christian brotherhood in Palestine throughout history, and there are attempts to empty Palestine of its Christians. We want to spread a message in the world, through you and through all the Palestinians abroad, that the lord messiah [Jesus] was born in Bethlehem, and Bethlehem is in Palestine.’”
