Fatah glorifies second intifada and its Martyrs, ”will continue the struggle in the same way”
Headline: "Fatah on the anniversary of the Al-Aqsa Intifada: We will thwart all of the plots with our resolve and perseverance"
"The Fatah Movement emphasized on the anniversary of the bold Al-Aqsa Intifada that broke out on this date in 2000 (i.e., PA terror campaign 2000-2005, more than 1,100 Israelis murdered) that we will thwart all of the plots with our resolve and perseverance, and freedom is undoubtedly on the way.
Fatah noted yesterday [Sept. 28, 2019] in a statement that the Al-Aqsa Intifada came as a popular Palestinian response to the injustice and aggression against the people, the land, Jerusalem, and the holy sites, and as a sign of firm Palestinian rejection of the Israeli occupation in all of its forms…
Fatah emphasized on this memorial day that it will continue the struggle in the same way and with the same positions, while adhering to the national basic principles that the leadership has established for Fatah and the Palestinian people. It also noted the firm positions of brother [PA] President Mahmoud Abbas in his rejection of the so-called deal of the century (i.e., US President Donald Trump's as yet unpublished Middle East peace plan), to whose reverberating downfall and failure we are witness at this time, and his firm position against the Israeli extortion in what is related to the allowances (mukhassasat) of the families of the Martyrs and the prisoners (i.e., referring to Israel's Anti "Pay-for-Slay" Law to deduct terror salaries; see note below –Ed.).
The movement conveyed a blessing of honor to the Martyrs of the Al-Aqsa Intifada and to all of our Palestinian people's Martyrs, and also a blessing of appreciation and love to our heroic prisoners who are standing firm in the Israeli occupation's prisons…
The movement emphasized that the Palestinian people’s free national willpower will not break, and that the Palestinian people will continue its national struggle with decisiveness and strength until it achieves its national freedom and independence."
